Vitals Bounds Window

The Vitals Bounds window allows you to configure normal ranges of vitals entered in the Case Management module and what values would be considered out of range.

For each type of reading you will specify a minimum and maximum value, as well as the allowable variance between readings. These values are tracked for adults and pediatric patients.

Field Description
Vital

A disabled field that indicates the selected vital.
Minimum Value (Adults and Pediatric)

This is the minimum value allowable for this vital in a normal range.

This value is specified for both adult and pediatric patients.
Maximum Value (Adults and Pediatric)

This is the maximum value allowable for this vital in a normal range.

This value is specified for both adult and pediatric patients.
Value Variance (Adults and Pediatric)

This is the maximum amount the vital can change between normal readings.

This value is specified for both adult and pediatric patients.
Task Procedure
Edit Vitals Bounds

  1. Select a listed entry to display the associated details in the Vitals Bounds area.

  2. Make any necessary changes and click the Modify Record () icon.

  3. Repeat the steps for all necessary vitals.
